Guests may bring in a clear bag (up to 14" x 6" x 14"), a medium personal item bag (up to 10" x 10" x 4"), or a diaper bag when accompanied by a child. Bags are not routinely searched, but we reserve the right to search any bag deemed a safety concern.

Refunds must be requested at least 30 minutes before your showtime, either through your online account (if you purchased with one) or in person at the box office with your card and ticket or receipt. What is the history of Alameda Theatre?
Alameda Theatre opened on August 16, 1932, designed by noted Bay Area architect Timothy L. Pflueger in the Art Deco style. It closed in 1979 after 47 years, sat vacant and repurposed for decades, and reopened on May 21, 2008 following a $37 million restoration and expansion into a cineplex.

A Luxury Recliner seating upgrade adds $1.00 to your ticket. Dolby 3D adds $2.50. Tickets purchased online include a non-refundable $1.75 convenience fee.
