Bag Policy

Guests are welcome to bring in bags that meet the guidelines below. Bags will not be routinely measured or searched upon arrival, but we reserve the right to search any bag deemed a safety concern or that appears to violate this policy. Bags that don't meet these guidelines may need to be returned to your vehicle or otherwise removed before entry.

Permitted bags:

• Clear bag — up to 14" x 6" x 14"
• Medium personal item bag — up to 10" x 10" x 4"
• Diaper bag — must be accompanied by a child

No outside food or beverages are permitted, including snacks, candy, bottled drinks, and to-go items.

ADA accommodations are available on request. Empty reusable water bottles are welcome and may be filled at the drinking fountain or concession counter.

Ticket & Pricing Policies

• Children age 2 and under are admitted free to G and PG-rated movies only when sharing a seat with an adult ticket holder. All ages require a ticket for PG-13 and R-rated films.
• Children of all ages are charged full general admission price for R-rated films. No one under 17 is permitted to attend an R-rated movie unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 21.
• Luxury Recliner upgrades are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Discounted Tuesday pricing does not apply on a film's opening day, on holidays, or for special engagements — 3D and Luxury Recliner upcharges still apply. $5 Tuesday pricing does not include Luxury Seating, 3D upcharges, or online ticketing fees, and is excluded from weekday premieres and holidays.
• Movie tickets purchased online include a non-refundable convenience fee.
• For the safety of our guests and staff, we reserve the right to inspect any backpacks, packages, or bags entering the theatre.

Refunds & Exchanges

Online Self-Refunds

Guests who create an account when purchasing tickets online can request a refund on their own through the "Purchases" section of the online portal. Online refunds must be completed before your showtime. This self-refund option is only available to current/previous account holders — guests who purchased without an account must request a refund at the box office.

Box Office Refunds

All other refunds must be requested in person at the box office. Please bring the card used for purchase, along with your tickets or a receipt. Refunds must be requested within 30 minutes before your showtime. If you don't think you'll make it to the box office in time, come by before your movie starts or plan on receiving a movie pass instead.

Refund Policy Details

• Refunds are issued back to the same card used for the original purchase
• Refunds requested less than 30 minutes before showtime will be denied — a pass for another movie will be issued instead
• If the original card is unavailable, a movie pass will be issued in lieu of a refund
• A cash refund cannot be given for a credit card purchase
• Purchases made with Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Pay, and similar services will receive a pass in lieu of a refund
• Refunds may take 5–7 business days to appear on your account
• The online transaction fee is non-refundable
• The theatre reserves the right to refuse a refund

Code of Conduct

Alameda Theatre & Cineplex is a place for everyone to enjoy a great movie experience. To help keep it that way, we ask all guests to keep talking and phone use to a minimum during the film, be respectful of other guests and staff, and follow all posted policies, including our bag and outside food policies.

If a guest is being disruptive, threatening, or otherwise not following these guidelines, please let a team member know and we'll help resolve the situation. We reserve the right to ask any guest acting inappropriately to leave the theatre without a refund.

For serious incidents, we reserve the right to involve local authorities, and guests may be held responsible for any unlawful behavior that occurs on our property.
